SAPEC is now offering a prevention workshop for establishing a community of responsibility.
KU students have an important role to play in the prevention and intervention of sexual violence.
Jayhawks Give a Flock is a bystander education and prevention workshop developed for college students at the University of Kansas. Based on the curriculum of Bringing in the Bystander®, the program provides participants with the skills to help them act when they see behavior that puts others at risk for violence, victimization, or perpetration. These include speaking out against rape myths and sexist language, supporting victim/survivors, and intervening in potentially violent situations.
