Biography

Kelsey joined the Sexual Assault Prevention & Education Center in the summer of 2019. Kelsey coordinates the Prevention is Possible Seminar (SW 301) and program assessment for the unit. Before she came to SAPEC, Kelsey spent seven years in community-based nonprofit organizations focused on victim advocacy, violence prevention, and community-based education, including at The Sexual Trauma & Abuse Care Center in Lawrence where she coordinated the SafeBar Alliance program and the Lawrence Sexual Violence Prevention Work Group. Kelsey received a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from KU in 2024, and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photo Media from KU in 2012.
