Kelsey Hunter

Kelsey joined the Sexual Assault Prevention & Education Center in the summer of 2019. Kelsey coordinates the Gender-Based Violence Seminars (LDST 301-303) and program assessment for the unit. Before she came to SAPEC, Kelsey spent seven years in community-based nonprofit organizations in Lawrence focused on victim advocacy, violence prevention, and community-based education. Before coming to SAPEC, Kelsey worked at The Sexual Trauma & Abuse Care Center where she coordinated the SafeBar Alliance program and the Lawrence Sexual Violence Prevention Work Group. Kelsey received a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from KU in 2024, and Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photo Media from KU in 2012.
